Abstract
Kindergarten teachers have sufficient difficulty in monitoring the activities of their students and the events that happen to them because of the number of their students. Based on these problems, the author designed and developed a monitoring and analyzing children´s activities system using space mapping. The purpose of this system is that teachers can supervise each child in the classroom and record the progress of each of his children given analyzed data. This system has two processes, monitoring children activities and analyzing children activities. In the process of monitoring first is to map all the objects (kids, games) in the classroom to the Cartesian plane, defines the activities and events by using a polygon and a point, read the coordinates on the child and the object class to be processed if there are events or activities in classrooms where then will be given the type of activity or event with the identity of the child in that activity or event and time. To determine which children perform activities of an object, look for the child in the work area (polygon) of the object that is closest to the object. To determine the events the child experienced we need to compare the coordinates of the child with the event´s areas (polygons). In the process of analyzing the system will analyze the children´s activities and events. The input for this process is the types of activities or events and the number of those occurrences. There will be analysis from the data obtained on the day and the analysis of the data from first day to today (total).
