Abstract :
This paper describes the concept of complex impedance. Based on the concept, a complex impedance standard is designed, in which the amplitude and phase are adjustable. The proposed standard is focused on digital impedance simulation technology, which includes key technologies, such as digital waveform synthesis and phase-locked multi-frequency. This paper also analyses the output performance of DAC selected in the standard, and simulates the phase-locked multi-frequency circuit, which resolved the difficulties of complex impedance standard implementation theoretically and established the foundation for meeting the design requirements. Based on the design of complex impedance standard, the digital bridge calibration on entire complex plane will be achieved.
