Abstract :
A multi-path direct digital frequency synthesis (DDFS) parallel pseudo interleaving architecture is proposed. This architecture can increase sampling rate of DDFS and get higher output frequency by eliminating image components caused by sampling. Spectrum of multi-path DDFS is analyzed and compared with spectrum of single-path DDFS. A 500MSPS DDFS consists of two parallel 250MSPS path is designed and the output is discussed.
