Abstract :
This paper presents the scheme, the function and the technical specifications of 170-325GHz waveband RCS measurement system. And the steps to improve the performance of system, including multilevel amplification and frequency multiplication, low-order harmonic mixing are taken using external signal generator and intermediary frequency (IF) receiver. Considerable dynamic range and other characteristics are obtained with these approaches. At the end of this paper, the concrete implementation and experiment of 1mm RCS measurement system is described, and the feasibility of the project studied in this paper is verified.
