Abstract :
A novel sensor with a probe based on vibration detection is designed in this paper. The probe is inserted into the pipe and the vibration of the probe relates to the parameters of gas-solid two-phase flow. The experiments indicate that the characteristic frequencies of signals are only decided by the structure. While different sizes and velocity of the particle cause the differences in the amplitudes of the dominant frequency.
