Abstract :
Aiming at the need of on-orbit service for Global Positioning System (GPS), the feasibility of on-orbit service for GPS was analyzed. Based on this situation, a scheme of on-orbit service for GPS based on On-orbit Service Satellite(OSS) releasing On-Orbit Service Mini Satellite (OSMS) was designed, which included the process of foremost orbit disposing, on-orbit fault detection, on-orbit maintenance and effect evaluating. The simulation demonstrates that the scheme is feasible and reliable, and it is of some value in future research and concretely practice on on-orbit service for GPS.
