  • Abstract
The restitution process is very important in the heritage domain. It allows people to discover their heritage thanks to the information founded in books, internet, digital support. The following work has been done with student of two different school of architecture of two different countries (EPAU of Algiers and ENSA La Vilette from Paris). They collaborated to define and identify the monography of each realization and they created together the 3D model and their simulation. Several digital tools have been used to restituate these relisations. The theodolite, the photomodelling, and the Lazer 3D. This paper present the various steps used to restituate two realisations belonging to the Algerian heritage. The first one concerns the case of the Ben Sm´en Villa, which is a Fahs Villa situated outside of Algiers city and belonging to the Ottoman period. The second one concerns the case of the Mahkama of the great mosque of Algiers City. Both realisations are still occupied and used. The main difference between them in addition to the different origin period, is the location site. All these technics were adapted to the specificity of the location site of the two realisations. The mahkama is situated in a urban area in the historic center of the Algiers city. The Ben S´men villa is situated in a suburban area in a sloped site surrounded by gardens. In this paper we will present the different technics used to return the two main realisations of the Algerian heritage.
