Abstract
The print-on-print (PoP) process is one important method to improve solar cell efficiency. In the fine line PoP process, lower finger height near the cell edge easily occurred because of paste blocking during 2nd layer printing. It this leads to higher finger resistance and poor appearance. In this paper, an optimized PoP design screen is used to minimize these effects. there is 0.12% gain in absolute efficiency with the PoP of finger <; 50μm compared with that of the single printing process.
