Abstract :
In order to improve the efficiency of bridge crack detection, research of crack detection method based on image processing is conducted in this paper. Basic characteristics of bridge cracks image are illustrated, theory of crack detection based on image processing is applied to the original image pretreatment. This paper focuses on using gray threshold iteration method and canny iteration method to achieve crack extraction, and filter parameters of canny iterative algorithm are improved. Accuracy of the two algorithms are compared and analyzed after experiment, results show that the improved canny crack extraction algorithm can gain better effect.
