Abstract :
Epoxy powder (EP) was ball-milled together with Graphene Oxide (GO) to form a new filler to be added to epoxy resin. The idea was that ball-milling would make interact the GO with the powder. The present trials and optical analysis seem to indicate that there is a cause-to-effect relation between the duo EP/GO and its agglomeration. Once the filler added to epoxy resin, the resulting composite was found to behave like a dielectric, with dielectric responses very similar to those of neat epoxy. In fact, over the frequency range of 10-2-106 Hz, the permittivities values were found to be lower than those of neat epoxy.
