Abstract :
Considering the requirements for positioning in the present and future weapon system, a approach for measuring angle and ranging at high accuracy is presented by utilizing wireless data communication link between ground station and aircrafts to locate aircrafts´ angle and ranging precisely. In the position system, direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) and frame data format are introduced for data interaction, precisely azimuth of aircraft is figured out by means of long-short base line formed by the antenna array on land, accuracy ranging of dual one-way non-coherent mode is realized by DSSS module asynchronous transfer frame[1]. Technical test and verify is given for azimuth and dual one-way ranging (DSSS) test, and the test result have reached the expected target, and precise positioning is realized.
