Research of centralized multicast key management for LEO satellite networks

With the rapid development of Internet technology and modern communication technology, LEO satellite networks have become one of the researching focuses for its broadband multimedia communications services and making personal communications available. But the wireless communications and broadcasting characteristics make LEO satellite networks vulnerable. The paper proposed a centralized multicast key management scheme based on hierarchical domain one-way function tree (HD-OFT). And through the performance comparative analysis, it can be effective in reducing the computational overhead of gateway server and bandwidth of satellite networks, and increasing resource utilization rate.
