  • Abstract
    The obsolescence management and evaluation for SSCs in nuclear power plants are discussed in detail. As an example, the main transformer of nuclear power plant is chosen to elaborate on the evaluation process of the obsolescence for the SSCs in nuclear power plants, including the overall process, principles, objects selection, process and results of the obsolescence issues evaluation. Through the obsolescence evaluation, the obsolescence issues that may exist are determined, optimized and solved before the time when the nuclear power plant performance is affected, to ensure the normal operation of equipment and the safe, reliable and economic operation of nuclear power plants.
