Abstract :
In this paper, a decode-and-forward multiple-antenna relay system with opportunistic relaying is considered. The relays apply maximum ratio combining for reception and maximum ratio transmission for transmission. Practically, the system will face co-channel interferences. In order to evaluate the effect of interferences to the system, a closed-form exact outage probability expression of the system over Rayleigh fading channels is derived. Also, Numerical investigation shows that the theoretical result makes an exact match with computer simulations. The derived result can be used to quickly evaluate the exact outage performances of the system in practical scenarios.
