  • Abstract
    With the fast development of globalization economy, workload of industrial automation increases exponentially which will lead to an increasing control demand, practically, effectively and reliably. In this paper, stereo-storage, an effective way to save space and time, has been chosen as an object to study. The stereo-storage mainly consists of a mechanical system and a control system. The mechanical system includes five layer shelves and motor drive (vertical lifting and horizontal feed) systems. The control system, referring to an operation part and a control part, has been paid close attention to this work. The display is a kind of the operation part which is a human-computer interaction platform; while the control part is made up of the PLC and the frequency converter. Testing the control system of stereo-storage demonstrates an enhanced performance and the control system have been proved to facilitate control and protection of the mechanical system.
