Abstract
A novel narrowband interference (NBI) suppression technique is considered. The traditional code-aided technique, which is proposed to suppress NBI and multiple access interference (MAI) in DS/CDMA networks simultaneously, encounters large computation complexity or performance deterioration when the processing gain is extremely large or small. These problems are solved by the proposed technique. A blind adaptive implementation of the proposed technique is further developed with lower complexity and more flexibility. Finally, computer simulation results are presented to evaluate the performance of the proposed NBI suppression approach.
