Abstract :
An energy audit is an inspection, survey and analysis of energy flow for energy conservation in an institute, process to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output. Energy auditing has been conducted at Hostel and Energy Department of MANIT to estimate the daily, monthly and annual energy consumption. The annual power consumption of MANIT energy department and Hostel is estimated as 916.66 MWh and 138.198 MWh respectively. This paper suggests certain recommendations for energy savings which if implemented will leads to a saving of 0.71% and 15.58% of energy.
