Abstract :
Electronics and communication technology plays a vital role in building avionics components for aircrafts form many decades, The technology which is highly reliable and advanced will only be implemented in an aircraft, various critical and noncritical parameters conveying the information of the entire aircraft, we need a network which is more powerful, and Efficient. The network which is thousand times faster in terms of data communication is avionics full duplex ethernet. This protocol works on IEEE 802.3 standard, avionics full duplex ethernet. It is the advanced version of the already existing one, this network uses less wirings because star topology is used for networking and with less wirings the weight of the aircraft is also reduced, it is the communication Standard that it has to be implemented in modern aircrafts, nowadays aircrafts should be light weight, fuel efficient and also in terms of comforts, this is a history making concept of introducing this protocol in modern day aircrafts with increasing the data communication speed up to 1000 times faster than the earlier technology.
