Abstract
This paper reports the results of our experiments to produce the 99mTc by neutron capture on natural molybdenum sample at low power research reactors. We carried out the measurements at a 20 kW SLOWPOKE-2 reactor in Saskatoon, Canada and also at 1.3 MW TRIGA reactor in Bangkok, Thailand. From the deduced radioactivities of 99mTc, we conclude this method of distributed production of Moly can be more economical and better use of radioactive materials.
