Abstract :
An iterative image reconstruction is expected as a powerful dose reduction method in clinical CT examinations. Although many studies have been made on the iterative reconstruction, its clinical use in CT routine examinations is still challenging. An iterative reconstruction is capable of denoising images in low dose CT scans. However, its long time processing prevents clinical work flows in routine examinations. The one of the solutions is a few iterations with high-performance computing.
