Abstract :
The Alzheimer´s Association has stimulated collaboration and scientific advancement in preventing and treating Alzheimer´s disease by bringing together leading researchers developing technological approaches offering promise in this area. This year, the Alzheimer´s Association collaborated with the International Society to Advance Alzheimer´s Research and Treatment to organize the first Technology & Dementia symposium at the 2013 Alzheimer´s Association International Conference in Boston. Here, the authors present some of the projects discussed at the symposium, which address early diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, and assistance.
