Abstract :
Software Testing is the most important phenomenon for the entire software industry as the software is developed it is quite noticeable in terms of its performance. GUI testing is the best way of evaluating the performance of newly developed software.GUI testing can be done to know whether the components of the interface such as buttons, check boxes etc has been working properly or not. Now a day´s researchers are more focused towards generating the test cases using automated tool. But, automated tools generate large number of test cases to test any particular GUI application. Therefore it is necessary to determine the usability of test cases. Usability can be understood as how much it is easy or hard for user to test the application using the particular test case. The major factors which affect the usability of test case are identified as Event Coverage, Ease of Use and Ease of Understanding. In this paper, we have proposed a model using fuzzy logic to predict the usability levels of test cases based upon these factors. The experimental result has been validated and shows satisfactory results.
