Abstract
Word Sense Disambiguation (WSD) is defined as the task of selecting a precise sense for a word in a sentence of a text from a set of predefined possibilities. WSD is very essential for applications like Information Retrieval, Machine Translation, Speech Related Problems. In this paper, we present new method called as modified maximum entropy approach for performing Word Sense Disambiguation of Natural Language text.
