Abstract :
We show that coherent light travelling through a 1-D lattice of waveguides with off-diagonal disorder exhibits super-thermal statistics (g(2) > 2), a manifestation of constrained disorder with underlying symmetries. Sub-thermal statistics may be exhibited for diagonal disorder.
