Abstract :
This paper mainly studies the key technology of three-dimensional (3D) laser scanning data. This paper from the basic principles to introduce the 3D laser scanning system. In the 3D laser scanner collected large amounts of data, we need to process the data so that data can be transferred and researched, So this paper also introduces the key contents of the point cloud data processing, respectively, from the point cloud data fairing denoising, compression and curve and surface fitting three aspects of the data processing for detailed analysis. The final result is to give discrete point cloud data to be realistic synthetic surfaces, and apply it in the protection of cultural relics, mapping technology, virtual reality and so on.
