  • Abstract
Demand response aims at achieve balance between supply and demand as well as saving energy and investment for utility and consumers. Based on this, this thesis will focus on discussing different load scheduling methods and giving a brief introduction to their applications in different power systems. In addition, it will not only analyze positive effects of a new smart-grid type of demand response method but also discuss main advantages of load scheduling is discussed and carry out path analyses of a near future demand response research.
