Abstract :
This article mainly researches on license plate automatic recognition technology which is used in parking management system. LPRS could replace the traditional methods like swiping card or artificial recognition in license plate recognition, the process is divided into four stages: image preprocessing, license plate localization, character segment and character recognition, and to set up a software system to verify at the same time.
