Abstract :
A noval load distribution mechanism for multipath transmission to improve user experience in overlay network has been put forward. For audio service, users are sensitive to the time delay between end to end, but time delay plays a negative role in the mechanism of QoS. So it is built the model as inverse function of time delay. For video service, the time delay and bandwidth are the main factors that affect the quality of service. Bandwidth plays a positive role in the mechanism of QoS, and time delay plays a negative role in the mechanism of QoS. According to these characteristic parameters, the final proportion of data distribution can be determined by a synthetic function. So time delay and bandwidth are set as performance indicators to judge the transmission quality of multipath. The weight values of traffic transmission on different paths are decided by the characteristic parameters of different services.
