Abstract :
This paper is to investigate the active variable stiffness control of cantilever beam under temperature field. Generic system equations of cantilever beam including all constitutive relations are defined. A cantilever beam structure under the temperature fields was modeled. Several control methods with SMA to compensate the influence of thermal stress are proposed, simulated and compared.
