Abstract
A physical model is proposed to study the time-domain waveforms of Lamb wave generated by laser with different pulse width in the isotropic material. Theoretical equations are formulated and solved and corresponding dispersion curves are derived and calculated. After the comparison, it is found that the calculated time-domain waveforms of Lamb wave are in good agreement with experimental results.
