Abstract :
In many of the engineering application the quality factor (Q) value of electrical devices are in-order of several hundreds. A transducer can be design using single-walled carbon nanotubes paper, which will act as oscillator having very high Q values and dissipate little energy as they oscillate. A Pico watt (10 -12 W) of power can drive a NEMS device with a low Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Hence this type of device has a good application potential due to their characteristic features in the field of medical imaging such as NMR, intravascular imaging etc.
