  • Abstract
    This paper introduces current situation and development trend of intelligent buildings and building automation technology as well as the influences on traditional intelligent buildings and building automation system with the rapid development of embedded technology represented by high-performance embedded microprocessor technology and embedded operating system technology. The application of high-performance embedded technology newly developed in building automation system can improve intellectualization level of buildings and reduce system cost, power consumption and the size. High-performance embedded technology has the incomparable advantages of traditional intelligent buildings and building automation system.
