Editorial - Bringing benefits to local DEIS members in Mexico and the world

The IEEE Dielectric and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) is a technical society that has been very active in North America for the past 50 years and has provided great benefits to its North American members. In my editorial I will inform DEIS members in other parts of the world on how to benefit from being a member. I conclude my editorial with an example of new opportunities in Mexico, where a DEIS chapter is in the process of being formed. The DEIS AdCom is committed to achieving a global presence, and if you feel that this has not happened in your city, or that all organized DEIS technical activities are too far away, please contact me after reading my editorial. The solution has been the formation of new DEIS chapters, in fact, all over the world, and I can help you form a local chapter and benefit from its formation, as will be explained below.
