  • Abstract
Since many years there is a significant growth in the area of wireless networks. Secure communication is considered as an important requirement. The IEEE 802.11 standard identifies several security services such as encryption and authentication to provide a secure operating environment and to make the wireless traffic as secure as wired traffic. IEEE 802.11-based networks do not dispose of any reliable mechanism for quality of service, therefore, research in this field has received much attention these years. This topic focuses on finding QOS in terms of security and by providing the required bandwidth dynamically to mobile nodes. In this proposed system we are able to transmit data from source to destination securely by getting dedicated bandwidth for communication. The scheduling algorithm is used to monitor the traffic and adjust the bandwidth dynamically according to the QOS parameters and thus provide an optimized bandwidth allocation.
