  • Abstract
    In this paper a new structure for a multilevel inverter has been proposed which its operation is based on a combination of diode-clamped and two level full bridge inverters. Major advantage of the proposed topology is reduction in the number of switches compared to the conventional topologies. Since increasing the number of levels, may lead to probably problems in diode clamped section of the topology, a solution has been also presented.
