Abstract :
This paper introduces the basic conceptions and research topics of prognostics and health management (PHM), and briefs the important potential benefits of PHM in light of its evolving history. Furthermore, the framework of prognostics, the key technology and the current actual application in PHM research field are analyzed. After concluding the hot spots and technical difficulties, we indicate the challenges from academic and technical research, and developing trend of PHM.
