Abstract
To solve problems such as one-sided assessment, high resource demand and weak ability of anti-attack against malicious nodes in existing trust management mechanisms in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), under the background of single-hop clustered WSN, a reputation management scheme was proposed according to the behaviors of sensor nodes on event perception, packet forwarding and data aggregation, which described the initialization, update, and storage of the reputation value and the punishment and redemption of malicious nodes in detail. When the scheme was applied to SPIN protocol, a new trust enhanced routing protocol based-on reputation called SFA was proposed. The results of the simulation indicates that in distrusted environment, SFA improves the data forwarding rate and delivery success rate in WSNs.
