Abstract
This paper describes the design of a Short Life Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm for wireless sensor networks coverage optimization strategy by activate sleeping nodes with swarm intelligence. The algorithm also designed to detect events with multiple visual by swarm behavior. The algorithm also designed to work independently if network divided into isolated parts due to energy deficiency or uneven distributed nodes. In general, this work discussed the Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm, provides improving strategy by 1) short life behavior, 2) chasing behavior, and 3) searching behavior. Experiment results show algorithm effectively improves network coverage with similar algorithm.
