Abstract :
Faced with the study of the waste cooking oil into fuel, the effect of the flow and heat transfer on the reaction mechanism is analysized in a new designed reactor using numerical simulation method. The computational results shown the swirling flow in the reactor can effectively improve the velocity distribution and temperature level near the wall and the catalyst columns and decrease velocity level near axis. The arrangement of double-layer catalyst columns can not only increase catalytic efficiency of the reactant, but also don´t almost influence the velocity and temperature distribution in the reactor with swirler.
