  • Abstract
    Design of wideband Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) filter operable in Ku-band has been presented in this paper. Single and multiple stepped Inductive posts have been used for obtaining the bandpass characteristics. The pass-band shows transmission characteristics from 12GHz to 17.5GHz. The filter is fed using microstrip to SIW transition technique over a material with dielectric constant of 3.48 and thickness of 0.51mm. Several Array alignments of inductive posts have been analyzed and the effects have been produced in this article. The design comes with minimal insertion loss over the entire bandwidth.
