Abstract :
The outstanding progress of digital technology has increased the ease with which multimedia data are reproduced and retransmitted. Since the advantages of such a progress are broadly available, they offer equally increasing potential to both legal and unauthorized data manipulation. Consequently, the necessity arises for protection of digital data against such unauthorized copying and redistribution, by forcing the users of the data to transfer due credits of its creator. Here we proposed a novel watermarking scheme for protecting the copyright of audio signals that caters the two fundamental qualities: inaudibility and robustness. The algorithm proposed is based on Dual tree-Complex Wavelet Transformation and has been tested with both human voice and Instrumental.
