Evaluation of Technology Innovation Capability of Equipment Manufacture in Zhejiang Based on Factor Analysis

The equipment manufacture industry is an important pillar for the development of Zhejiang economy. It is also a driving force for the economic growth, the transformation and upgrading of the industrial. The paper evaluated the capability of technology innovation of seven sub-industry of equipment manufacture in Zhejiang with panel data in 2009 based on factor analysis. The advantage and disadvantage of Zhejiang equipment manufacture technology innovation capability has been given with the analysis of the result. It aims to provide scientific basis for development strategy making of Zhejiang equipment manufacture industry.
