Abstract
The traditional way to the contention based random access has great limitation on account of only considering solving the all collision by sending Msg4. In order to meet the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard low delay for the TD-LTE (Time Division Long Term evolution) system, this paper designs a random access procedure. The main idea is to form a corresponding relationship between sectors and Temporary C-RNTI, only the user who meets this mapping can be allowed to enter the follow-up process after Msg2. The simulation results show that the new method can decrease the latency and improve the success rate of access, and it´s more apparent for large access intensity. This is consisted with the 3GPP Release10 standard.
