Abstract
Cloud computing is a service mode that is based on virtualization and distributed computing technologies, yet cloud workloads cannot be lively migrated from different cloud datacenters as technical differences between many large-scale public cloud service providers, which limits the users\´ choice to a certain extent. In this paper, a modification program will be drawn trough analysis and research, starting from the issue of current cloud workloads transfer and the situation of virtualization market, basing on open source standards and related technologies, and following the way of "OVF + cloud middleware + interface API". The main advantages of this program are reflected in the following two aspects: virtual appliances are in the process of "packed → read file → converted format → matched interfaces → sent to the target cloud platform", which can make different virtual devices that are from the same user be packaged and shifted separately; the process of cloud workloads transfer will be safe, efficient and flexible through the application of the third-party service provider and the cloud middleware.
