Abstract
3GPP made the LTE plan in 2004, which aims to promote the mobile communication system to evolve sustainably. As technology evolves, unified Packet Core Network will be adopted to carry real-time demanding businesses such as data and voice services. And end-to-end QoS guarantee for services is achieved by way of PCC architecture. Although 3GPP has given a clear definition of PCC, but telecom operators have large service provider networks, so that the construction and application program of PCC within these networks requires a combination of various operators to elaborate. Therefore, the research and application of PCC architecture in LTE networks is very important. In this paper, we study the PCC architecture in EPS and then simulate the PCC architecture of LTE networks based on the OPNET simulation platform. By achieving that, simulating scenarios with PCC architecture can be used to evaluate the real networks and give telecom operators suggestions.
