Abstract :
An adaptive simulation method for design of unequally spaced linear array with frequency invariant response is presented. This method has no restriction on geometry of array and sensor pattern, and can easily get an invariant beam pattern over a desired frequency range. This method is used to construct beamformer matrix to focus wideband signal and estimate DOA. Proposed method combine the advantages of reducing computation and increasing resolution probability of beamspace DOA estimation method, and have the ability to resolve correlated source of CSM method. Simulations are given to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method.
