Abstract :
This paper presents the development of the hybrid system to increase the electricity generation efficiency. This model consists of two sources; solar array (SA) which converts radiant light into electrical energy and thermoelectric module (TEM) which convert heat energy into electricity. The SA dissipates a large portion of heat waste and TEM is a good candidate to convert this wasted energy into a useful one. This design able to increase the output power and efficiency compare to the conventional solar design. The model obtained the data from existing experiments with predicted various conditions of temperature, heat gradient, internal resistance and current attribute of TEM and SA. Transient analysis on the hybrid system has shown that this system is able to work effectively under different conditions of input variables.
