Abstract :
Research in the field of oxyfuel combustion for “zero-emission” fossil power plants has made good progress in recent years. However, the complexity of the novel combustion gas supply significantly affects the dynamic characteristics and the operability of the overall power plant process. This article deals with the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of an oxyfuel power plant concept based on the membrane technology. The process is examined concerning its time response and its applicability for load regulation. The analyses result in an interim control scheme for the furnace capacity.
