Innovative strategies in laboratories for Control Engineering degree

The usefulness of remote laboratories is very important in Control Engineering because experimentation is required to achieve abilities and procedural skills that complement the cognitive skills. In this paper an innovative web-based control laboratory is presented. As a real example, this laboratory has been applied in “Advanced Control” subject in the Engineering degree at Technical University of Catalonia, UPC. The benefit and quality of training using this proposed remote laboratory have been evaluated with a real students class.
