Abstract :
The paper presents the idea of fault detection and isolation (FDI) system based on fuzzy neural network (FNN). One proposed utilisation of the FNN both to modelling for fault detection purposes and to fuzzy residual evaluation and fault isolation performed on the grounds of symptoms-faults relation. Properties of the diagnostic system with considered structured are illustrated on the example of three-tank system (TTS).
